For the 5th year Brian is participating in this prestigious miniature show, February 2010 in Tucson,

you can find wonderful paintings 9 x 12” and smaller. Shown above is “The Resting Place”
which I painted in a very old, historic cemetery in Jerome, AZ. Visit www.settlerswest.com for
more info.

Stickley Portrait at Craftsman Farms

Brian's posthumous portrait of Gustav Stickley, leader of the American Arts & Crafts Movement, has found a home at Craftsman Farms and the Stickley Museum in Morris Plains, NJ. Stickley was the leader of the American Arts & Crafts movement as well as designer, furniture manufacturer, publisher, writer, humanitarian and thinker. He is accurately portrayed down to his abbreviated right thumb lost in a woodworking accident. 39 x 50”, oil on canvas in a Stickley inspired frame by the artist of quarter-sawn oak inlayed with his “Als Ik Kan” (All I Can or The Best I Can) motto.
